Annie is approx. 14 year old Percheron mare that was adopted from a rescue. When the rescue had her she would not let anyone trim her hooves so they had an old gentlman that would just knock the wings off as they used to say..when I got her, her hooves did not look good at all, they were way too wide, split with some pretty serious cracks.. Annie would not lift her feet just for general cleaning..I went through several different farriers before happening across Jarred. I was sceptical at first because I have had some of the most experienced people try to lift her hooves and/or trim them with no success..We had to have our vet sedate her and completely put her under to get her hooves done..that was just too drastic for my taste so I went on a search for someone who would try a different technique. Well Jarred came out and I couldn't believe it..in the first visit he had her lifing her front feet with little to no effort...and he actually trimmed them. I believe he even got her hind legs lifted that day too. The 2nd visit we had all four feet trimmed and looking great the best I had ever seen them look..Jarred treated her with great patience and very loving with her..his technique is one of the best I have ever seen and is not aggresive towards the horse in any way.. He would end every step on a positive...never negative with the horse..I would recomend Jarred for any horse the easy to the hardest because you will get nothing but the best treatment for your horse.
